This past Thursday, April 11th 2024, we were honored to sub in for another band at the last minute! We got to reepresent the Junction and Parkside neighbourhoods in support of St. Joseph’s very own Academic Family Health team at the annual St. Joe’s Neighborhood Throwdown Battle of the Bands! Playing 3030 is always such a pleasure with Chris the sound man and the terrific staff and venue in the Junction – one of the best venues in Toronto IMO. Last Saturday, April 6th (’24) we had another great night at Jake’s last Saturday serving 2 birthdays and a retirement party! I think folks wore a hole in the dance floor and we loved every moment of it! Special thanks to the Jake’s staff – such a great place to play and visit. I don’t think we can get enough of this place and its great atmosphere, food and staff. Looking forward to seeing you all there again sometime in the future! Thanks to the staff at Smokeshow, we all had a great Thursday night and managed to pack the joint. It was great to meet and see the awesome dancing skills that are the mainstay of the Yonge & Eglington neighbourhood! Hope to see you all again soon!
Our first gig of the new year was great! Once again, the patrons and staff at Jake’s Boathouse were a blast!
Playing Jake’s was a total blast. Great crowd, great staff, everyone had fun on September 23rd, 2023! Really looking forward to seeing you all there again when it’s time to party!
Our gig at Roc ‘n Docs! was super fun! Thanks to the staff and regulars who ripped up the dance floor all the way ’till close! Also special thanks to our ultra talented guest keyboardist Caroline – clearly a crowd favourite and winner of the ‘I’ll take my cowboy hat off to you’ award! Awesome venue, it was great playing there – thank you Roc ‘n Docs!
Friday, March 31st, the band had an awesome time playing at Jake’s Boathouse! Great food, great dancers, some of the nicest staff you’ll ever meet! I’m sure we’ll play there again sometime soon!
It may have been a thursday night, but it sure felt like a friday! The historic Linsmore Tavern has stood for 89 years and it was an honour to play there! We had a fantastic time and met a lot of great people having a great time! Alex our drummer says it’s the first time he’s seen folks jump up to dance to our version of Heart’s Barracuda! Awesome crowd!
